Shippers Inventory

A shippers inventory allows us to arrange for collection of your goods and deliver them to your chosen destination.

When we receive your form we will provide you with a reference number and a cost. You will need to pay either beforehand or at the time of collection, this can be by cheque or on-line. We need full details about the person we will collect from and the person we deliver to, even if they are the same person. Please complete all items marked with an asterisk (*). 

You should also identify each separate item we will collect in the packages list at the bottom of the form. Please briefly describe the content of each package, eg. 'Clothing' and give an estimated value. Please also indicate from the drop down list what type of package it is. 

None of your packages may contain either dangerous or hazardous goods or valuable items (as defined by IATA/IMO). 

Finally you must tick the declarations and enter your name and todays date.

I hereby declare that the above information is true and correct and understand that any false declarations may lead to prosecution and the seizure of my goods. I further agree that I have read and fully understand the “Important Pre-Shipment Information” (below) which explain these terms and conditions.

In addition I/We confirm that no part of this consignment originated in, or has transited, Yemen or Somalia, and that the shipment does not contain ink or toner cartridges.

Important Pre-Shipment Information

1. It is your responsibility to ensure that all goods are packed sufficiently well so that they can travel safely to their destination. If you have any doubts - ask!! Fragile items will require protecting so that they are not damaged in transit. Packing materials can be provided at competitive prices. Please remember it is better to be safe than sorry. All packages containing fragile items should be clearly marked "FRAGILE".

2. There are certain items which cannot be accepted for transit within your baggage or cartons. These items include, but not limited to, aerosols, batteries, explosives, fireworks, corrosives, paint, perfumes, pressurised containers, firearms, ammunition, radioactive items, magnet materials, fuel or other flammable items. Please also note that ink cartidges and toner cartridges are also forbidden.

3. The price quoted does NOT include insurance. Please contact us for further information. The following items should NOT by shipped by freight: cash, travellers cheques, stamp collections, deeds, tickets, jewellery, watches or similar high valued articles.

4. Cartons should be a maximum weight of 30 kilos. Heavy items such as books should be packed into smaller cartons for ease of handling. Any large single items should be advised in advance. Suitcases should be locked.

5. Wherever possible, packages should be available for collection at the ground floor, Our drivers collect many shipments every day and your help is much appreciated to enable us to keep your prices down.

6. All paperwork, where provided in advance by Tudor, must be ready on collection. Also all packages must be clearly marked with the name and address at destination.

7. All delivery/collection times provided by Tudor are approximate only. Please allow sufficient time either side of the stated time as the driver can be early or late.

8. Please have the appropriate method of payment ready on collection. All cheques must clear before freight can be dispatched.

9. Wherever possible the sender should be at destination port/airport to receive their belongings. It is more than likely that they will need to complete a customs declaration for which needs precise information of the contents and it is unlikely a friend or family member would have enough information to enable them to complete documents. Note: some countries will only allow the sender to claim their goods on production of their passports.

10. Our prices are fully inclusive from collected in UK to arrival at destination port or airport only. Customs clearance, local handling, duties and taxes (if applicable) should be paid by the person collecting at the destination unless otherwise stated.

11. All business is undertaken subject to the Standard Trading Conditions of the British International Freight Association (Latest Edition). Copies available upon request.
