With transit times of approx 10-14 days we can provide a relatively quick transit time to most countries at prices far lower than by air freight. Provided there is no furniture involved in the removal, this service acts as a cheap alternative to using a specialist furniture removal company. Road freight can accommodate shipments from as small as a single package to as large as several pallets of household effects. The service is (unless otherwise stated) door to kerbside. This means that our price will include all freight charges from the original collection point of your home in the UK up to arrival of the shipment outside of your home in the destination country. It does not include the actual delivery into your residence. If the country of destination is within the EEC then there are no Customs formalities to attend. Some other European countries (such as Norway, Switzerland etc.) require shipments to be customs cleared on entering the country. In these cases our prices also include the cost of customs clearance but do not include any duties or taxes should they be charged by local customs officers. All shipments within the EEC are subject to VAT at the current rate. If you have several packages to be shipped then we would advise that it is safer to have the packages palletised.
